Dania Morris

Dania is a curious engineer who has a strategic and creative approach to overcome diverse design challenges.  Dania obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in International Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park in December 2017. Currently, Dania is an R&D Engineer at Opus Medical Therapies. Dania serves as the incumbent Secretary for the BTX Foundation. 

While attending the University of Maryland, Dania’s campus involvement included: 

  • Center of Minorities in Science and Engineering 

    - Summer Bridge Program 

    - LSAMP Student Leadership Board 

  • Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Research - President

  • Clark School Ambassador  

  • Black Engineers Society 

  • Women in Engineering

  • Hybrid-Systems Integration and Simulation Research Lab

  • Maryland EDGE Program

Through her college tenure, Dania interned at Sikorsky Lockheed Martin for three years.

After graduation, Dania moved to California and accepted a position with Medtronic as an R&D Engineer. 

Dania serves as the incumbent Secretary and Programming Chair for the BTX Foundation.
