Joshua Ikegwu

Joshua is a senior studying Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. Previously, he was involved in research analyzing the energy efficiency of buildings on UMD's campus. He is currently involved in research analyzing the spatial and temporal effects of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound as part of ENME488. He enjoys learning how things work and understanding the intersection between hardware and software. Some of the projects he has completed include a mock imitation of Flappy Bird using an Arduino board, various sensors, and the Arduino and Processing programming languages. He also worked with another student to create a website that could accept, retrieve, and delete user input for course reviews combining JavaScript, express, and MongoDB as the database. He has interned the past two summers at Northrop Grumman as a Semiconductor Process Engineer, and Systems and Software Engineer, with which the latter he is currently doing a co-op for.
